Due to new boiler installation in the church, all Masses will be temporarily held in the Maurice Reaney Hall. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are kindly soliciting for financial support from parishioners to assist us in meeting the high cost of this project. Thank you.  

PASTORAL COUNCIL

The Parish Pastoral Council will be inaugurated this Sunday 28th November 2021 at the 10.30am Mass with the swearing-in of members.


2022 FHC REGISTRATION FOR PUPILS IN YEAR 3 AND ABOVE

FHC registration will commence from Sunday 21st November 2021, 11:30 am- 12:30 pm in the Maurice Reaney Hall. This will be carried out on every Sunday till Sunday 19th December 2021.

Registration Forms will be available at the entry and exit foyers of the church or can be downloaded by clicking here.

Please candidates must be present at registration with their baptism certificates. A copy of Baptismal Certificate will be required if ONLY it was administered abroad. Registration fee is £20

 

READERS
On Sunday 5 December 2021, renewal of your Commitment to Service as a Reader will take place at every Mass. Please be reminded that from the first Sunday of Advent, Sunday 28 November 2021 – the Catholic Lectionary Mass booklet for readings will change to ‘Book C’. Books are available for purchase at the entry and exit foyers of the church. New members are welcome to join the reading and bidding prayer group. Please note that you must register first.

CAR PARK RESTRICTIONS:
From the 16 December 2021, parking in the Car Park will be restricted. This is as a result of abuses and threats from different car owners. We encourage parishioners to use this time gap to register their cars using the tablets
provided at the Entrance to the Church, Maurice Reaney Hall, Wardroom and Ellis Halls. Thank you

 

 

ST ELPHEGE’S INFANT SCHOOL (rated – OUTSTANDING 2013) ADMISSIONS FOR 2022 NOW OPEN

All parents and carers who wish their child to attend a primary school must make an application through their home local authority midnight on 15 January 2022. To do this, please visit the Sutton website at www.sutton.gov.uk/admissions. 
The school also offers 15 or 30 hour places for Nursery aged children who will be three from September and are also open to admissions by submitting the school supplementary form direct to the school. 

If you would like to apply to the school, please download the supplementary form from the school website or contact the school office for a copy to be sent.  Tours of the school are available, again please contact the school directly to book an appointment.

BUILDING A BETTER MARRIAGE

Here is a gift for husbands and wives, an opportunity to spend a morning online exploring and improving your relationship. GRIEF IN LOSS: HOPE IN CHRIST

Have you been bereaved? This weekend being held at Aylesford Priory is for you, for anyone who has lost a loved one through death; an opportunity to mourn but also to share with and be supported by others. The RCIA course is on every Tuesday at 7.00pm – 8.30pm in the Maurice Reaney Hall. The RCIA Course is for intended Catholics first and foremost. But it is also open to Catholics who have been baptised but have not received the other Sacraments of Initiation (First Holy Communion and Confirmation).

Catholics who have received all these sacraments but would like to deepen their knowledge of and faith in the Church are also welcomed.

Altar Servers

Due to COVID, Altar Servers are not able share Albs. Please contact the Parish Office to arrange collection of an Alb for your child’s sole use while they are Altar Servers. The Alb should be thoroughly washed (and ironed) before they are used.

 

Reconciliation

 

Please note that Reconciliation now takes place in the Lady Chapel on every Saturday between 10:30 am -11:30 am & 5:15 pm to 6 pm.
