SIGNING OF SCHOOL FORMS
Please be informed that Fr. Patrick will be available to sign the Priest Reference Form for Catholic Schools for about an hour every Sunday in September, from 1:20 pm to 2:20 pm, after the Midday Mass in the Wardroom. The final day for the signings will be Sunday, October 6th, 2024. Kindly remember to bring the child along with their Baptism and First Holy Communion Certificates. We kindly ask for your cooperation and hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity. ***Please if you are not a parishioner of St Elphege’s Church, kindly see your parish priest. Thank you.
CHILDREN LITURGY(BREAK)
We would like to inform parents and carers that there will be a scheduled break in our Children's Liturgy from 4th August and end on 1st September 2024. Service will resume on Sunday 8th September 2024. During this period, we encourage families to continue exploring and discussing the themes and stories of our faith at home.
TEA AND COFFEE TEAM ON BREAK
Just a note to inform all parishioners that there will be no Tea and Coffee served in August. The Tea team will resume their services on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Tea will still be served after the 10:30 am Mass in the Wardroom .
MISSIO BOXES
Dear Parishioners as we approach the end of our collection period, we kindly remind you to return your Missio boxes. Return Deadline: Sunday, 28th July, 2024 Drop-off Locations: After Sunday Services: A designated collection point will be available at the back of the church Please ensure your boxes are clearly labelled with your name. If your box is full and you need a replacement, additional boxes are available at the same spot.
NEW SACRISTAN WANTED
Dear parishioners, we seek dedicated individuals to join our team of Sacristans. This role is vital to our worship and service to the community. Mary’s Meals
Mary’s Meals wants to collect all your foreign currency and turn it into cash to feed hungry children in the 18 countries it works in. You will find envelopes at the entrances of the church, please take one when you leave and put all your foreign coins and notes* into it. Then bring your envelope back to church next weekend. Mary’s Meals feeds children for only 10p per meal so a little goes a long way. Thank you for being so supportive. **We will also take UK coins/notes that aren’t legal tender**
